Cell Phone/Ink Cartridge Recycling

Recycle empty ink cartridges and old cell phones by bringing them to the wrestling building and dropping them into the bins provided in the main gym area for rebate.

Titan Fan Zone

Wrestling partners with the football program to make Northview pre-game's Titan Fan Zone a success.  What is the Titan Fan Zone?  Northview High School football has created a new venue for local area businesses to interact with students and families of Northview and they are calling it the Titan Fan Zone.  It features an interactive midway of games, sampling, face painting, inflatable's and companies showcasing their products and services.  It is designed to get Northview fans to the games earlier to help alleviate traffic and congestion at the gate while creating a fun pre-game atmosphere.  They will have battle of the bands, student/teacher competitions and as an added bonus, Star 94 will have a remote broadcast at all home games this season giving Northview football added on-air exposure.  How do we help?  Our athletes/families set up tents, interactive games and man stations from 4-7:30 pm (kick-off) at all Northview football home games.  Meet near the entrance to the football field to help out.

Junior Titan & High School Tournaments

One of Titan Wrestling’s largest fundraising efforts includes holding tournaments for the Junior Titan program and the High School Titan Duals.  In order to pull off these events, each wrestler and wrestling family will be required to volunteer time and resources.  Dates and times for the upcoming season will noted in the Handbook.  

Senior Signs and Titan Bolts

**Purchase a Senior Titan Recognition Package or a Wrestler’s Titan Bolt**

Beginning with the fall season of 2008-09 Senior Packages or lightning bolts may be purchased to be displayed in the wrestling building to recognize a student athlete, cheer on the team or highlight a specific accomplishment.  Senior Titan Recognition Package:

Annually families wishing to recognize their senior wrestler may do so by purchasing a Senior Titan Recognition Package at $200.00 which provides the following benefits:  a 2’ x 2’ sign displaying the senior’s name, wrestling information and up to a 10 word message.  It will be hung for the entire season (November through October) in the wrestling building on the Titan Wrestling Wall with fellow Senior team mates.  They will be given special notation and be pictured on Northview’s wrestling websites, as well as each Home meet program brochure. Freshman, sophomore and junior families may purchase a 2’ Titan bolt displaying their wrestler’s name which will be hung for the entire season (November through October) in the wrestling building along with his team mates for $125.00. To purchase a Senior Titan Recognition package or Titan bolt please fill out the order form  and hand it in by October 29th at the Kick-Off Dinner / Parent-Player Orientation Meeting.

**Senior Packages and Titan Bolts are only available one time per year so do not miss the October 29th deadline**

Procure Ads for Programs

Programs will be sold at every Titan Wrestling Home Meet.  At High School meets it will include rosters from both teams, team photos, team manager photos, a special section featuring Titan Wrestling Seniors and Titan Wrestling Sponsors.  At Junior Titan tournaments it will include a Jr. Titan roster, listing of competitors, team photos and Titan Wrestling Sponsors.  For businesses to be featured in all home programs, their information must be submitted no later than November 24, 2008.  Print

Kringle Pastries

  Kringle is a thin and delicate pastry developed hundreds of years ago in Denmark.  Racine Danish Kringles are made from a traditional recipe that Danish bakers brought with them to the US when they immigrated to Racine, Wisconsin in the 1880s.  Kringle is made of multiple flaky layers of delicate pastry dough filled with fruit or nut, then baked to a golden perfection and topped with a rich buttercream icing!  Kringle sales begin October 25th and end November 7th.  Individuals are encouraged to sell as many Kringles as possible and can credit $4 of each Kringle sold toward wrestling fees.  To support their efforts, on November 1st the team will meet for Kringles Blitz Day to canvas local neighborhoods and raise sales.  

**Kringles pick-up date is December 11th from 6-8 pm at the wrestling buildilng.**

    Booster Club Membership

The Titan Booster Club is an umbrella booster club that supports the fundraising of all athletic booster clubs at Northview. They financially support, promote, and advance student participation in athletics at Northview High School sponsoring several fundraising activities that all clubs can benefit from.  The Titan Booster Club cooperates with and supports the coaching and administrative staffs of Northview High School while organizing and implementing club supported activities through financial and administrative support for all student athletic programs at the school.  Their goal is to encourage and develop all student sport programs at Northview High School by working to improve and sustain the spirit, fellowship, and knowledge among its members and the surrounding community in a cooperative and enthusiastic manner.

By joining the NAABC and designating all or part of the membership fees to wrestling, 90% can be used to pay wrestling fees.  This is a great way for families to meet their Takedown Club commitment and receive the benefits of a Booster Club Membership (including free admission to Northview home sporting events for each family member that is included, and much more.)

Sponsorship Recognition Program

Northview wrestling program sponsors will be recognized with signage inside the wrestling building, on our website, on our wrestling banner, verbally at all home meets and/or in our program brochures.  It is important to note that the wrestling building is used 12 months a year not only by High School and Junior teams, but also by outside organizations.   Thousands of people pass through our doors every year offering great exposure to our sponsors.

Securing a community sponsorship at $1,000 or more will serve as a waiver to paying wrestling fees for the year it is obtained.  Sponsorships obtained at a lower level would also be given a credit toward wrestling fees (please see a Board Member for details).
